About Cangkou Park
Cangkou Park is located at No. 33, Xinghua Road, Licang District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It covers an area of 88,000 square meters and was built in 1957. The park was constructed by the Qingdao Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Textile Industry, allocating land from the Seventh National Cotton Factory and requisitioning land from Yingzi Village. After seven transformations, including the construction of an animal exhibition area in 1965 and the addition of a children's playground in 1983, the sponge city construction project was launched in 2015, using facilities such as permeable floors and sunken green spaces. The park retains the large cement slide built in the 1980s. This facility was once used as a filming location for the film and television drama "Hello, Old Times" and also features Lotus Square, cultural corridors and other landscapes.
