About Luodai Great Wall
Luodai Great Wall, formerly known as Jinlong Great Wall, got its name because it is located in Jinlong Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In 2004, Jinlong Town was placed under Luodai Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, so it was also named Luodai Great Wall. It is located in Jinlong Lake Scenic Area. It is a simulated Great Wall building. Construction began in 2001 and was completed in 2002. The Great Wall is 1680 meters long, 4 meters high and 3 meters wide, and has 5 beacon towers. The construction of the Luodai Great Wall is related to the legend of the local Hakka people. In 2004, due to administrative division adjustment, its name was changed from Jinlong Great Wall to Luodai Great Wall. In July 2024, the scenic spot was rated as a national 3A tourist attraction.
