About Wangfujiao
Wangfu Reef is located on the seashore at the northern end of Changshan Island in Penglai District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. It covers an area of 3,000 hectares. The core landscape is a natural reef that looks like a baby holding a baby in his arms and wearing a scarf on his head. It is formed by the alternating stacking of shale and quartzite. The scenic area integrates mountains, seas, reefs, beaches, caves and myths and legends. It includes natural and cultural landscapes such as Undersea Tang Well, Sulian Fenbo, Lanyue Pavilion, Shen Gong Garden, etc. It is distributed with five major scenic spots and 36 scenic spots. The main check-in points include the Geological Museum, Crucian Carp Seal, Guanyin Temple, Longtou Reef, etc. The scenic spot has been under development since May 1995 and is famous for the legend of the fisherwoman fossil.
