About Xunmen
Xunmen is the embodiment of the Xun hexagram in the Eight Trigrams of the Book of Changes. Its hexagram consists of two yang lines at the top and one yin line at the bottom. It symbolizes the "wind" element in nature and corresponds to the geographical direction of the southeast. In traditional Feng Shui theory, Xunmen often forms the "Kanzhai Xunmen" pattern with Kanzhai facing north and south, that is, the gate opens in the southeast. In actual cases, Shaoguan Baguawei has Sunda Gate as the east entrance according to the Zhouyi Bagua layout, while Laoshan Jufeng Tourist Area has a Sunda Gate attraction at an altitude of 981 meters.
