Taitung Night Market is located in the pedestrian area from Yan'an 2nd Road to Taidong 3rd Road in the North District of Qingdao. It is one of the main business districts in Qingdao and has a development history of more than 120 years. The business district integrates commerce, finance, catering and other businesses, with a total number of merchants exceeding 1,000. Its core Taitung Pedestrian Street has been selected into the third batch of national model pedestrian streets. Taitung 3rd Road Pedestrian Street is planned to be a fun community section, a vibrant commercial section, and a creative art section. Among them, the original Changxing Road Snack Street will be upgraded in 2022 and become a catering and food concentration area called "Nie'er Street", with 75 shop stalls. The shops are regularly updated and equipped with outdoor air-conditioning systems in summer.
