About Dazhu Mountain

Dazhu Mountain is located in the south of Huangdao District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It runs northwest and southeast, faces the sea on three sides, and protrudes between Lingshan and Guzhenkou bays. It is about 15 kilometers long, 5 kilometers wide, and covers an area of about 65 square kilometers. The main peak, Dazhaiding, is 486.4 meters above sea level and is located 10 kilometers south of Zhushan Street. Dazhu Mountain is famous for its towering height and beautiful scenery. Because it stands in the north and south of Xiaozhu Mountain, there is an ancient saying of "two beads embedded in the clouds", and it is listed as the first scenic spot in ancient Jiaozhou. The mountains are steep, the trees are lush, there are many strange peaks and rocks, and there are many cultural relics and historic sites.
