About Sun Yat-sen Academy
Sun Yat-sen Academy is located in the Zhongshan Scenic Area of Zijin Mountain, Xuanwu District, Nanjing. It was planned to be built in 1993, completed in November 1994, and officially opened on March 12, 1995. It was originally an academic research site affiliated with the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and is now adjusted to the Sun Yat-sen Cemetery Cultural Exhibition and Education Base. The main building is a two-story palace-style structure, facing south, with double eaves and flying corners, red columns, white walls and green tiles. It has a construction area of more than 2,800 square meters and is surrounded by osmanthus, cedar and other plants. There is a bust of Sun Yat-sen in the lobby on the first floor. The west hall displays various works, research documents and historical photos of Sun Yat-sen, and the east hall displays calligraphy and painting works collected in the cemetery.
