About four-sided monument
The four-sided monument is a cultural relic of the Qing Dynasty in the Dazhuangzhuang Group, Zhongyuan Village, Canglong Street Office, Renhuai City, Guizhou Province. It was built in the 20th year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty. It was originally a monument to the ancestral hall of the Gan family. The monument was once erected in the family's Banpo ancestral hall. It was later moved in the 1990s due to the disrepair of the ancestral hall. In 2017, it was re-erected in front of the ancestral grave under the big fir tree during the Qingming Dynasty. Together with the Gan courtyard, it forms a witness to the family's history. The body of the stele is engraved with family rules, family mottos, family origins and generational rankings.
