About Liberation Pavilion
Jinan Liberation Pavilion is located in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. The building area of Jiefang Pavilion is 620 square meters, and the platform area is 2150 square meters. Jiefang Pavilion integrates display, education and sightseeing. It is a "patriotism education base", "party member education base", "care for the next generation education base" and Shandong Province's "national defense education base" in Shandong Province and Jinan City. It has not only become an important position for revolutionary traditional education, but also one of Jinan's landmark buildings. In 1965, the Municipal Government of Jinan, Shandong Province decided to build the Liberation Pavilion in the southeast corner of the old city, the site of the breach of the Battle of Jinan. Construction was later stopped, and in May 1985, the Jiefang Pavilion was rebuilt.
