About Global Center
New Century Global Center (Chengdu Global Center) is located at No. 1700, North Section of Tianfu Avenue, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It covers an area of about 1,300 acres and has a total construction area of about 1.76 million square meters. It is a multi-functional building integrating entertainment, exhibitions, business, shopping, and hotels. It is under the jurisdiction of Guixi Street, Chengdu High-tech Zone. The New Century Global Center was designed by Zaha Hadid and China Shenzhen Architecture, and invested and constructed by the Convention and Exhibition Tourism Group. The main project was completed in 2012; it was officially opened in September 2013. The overall center is shaped like "flying seagulls and undulating waves", forming a "water cornucopia" style against the backdrop of sunlight and water views.
