About chang shanwei
Changshanwei is a natural geological landscape located at the southeastern end of Changshan Island in the south of Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is the boundary mark at the intersection of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. The main body of the landscape consists of a jade-colored pebble beach about 1 kilometer long and more than ten meters wide. It winds into the sea in an S-shape and is named after its shape resembling the extended tail of a long island. There is an obvious boundary here due to differences in tides, waves and seawater density between the two seas. The Yellow Sea water on the east side is dark blue, and the Bohai Sea water on the west side is slightly yellow due to the high sediment content, forming a unique landscape of "Jade Beach Flying Snow".
