About Chun Shen Jian
Chunshen Stream, located in Xihui Park, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is a stream landform, also known as Huanggong Stream. It was named after the legend that Huang Xie, the king of Chunshen, drank his horse here during the Warring States Period. The stream meanders along Baishiwu on the east slope of Maofeng, Huishan Mountain. During the rainy season or after heavy rain, the water flows down to form a mountain torrent waterfall, making it a local scenic spot for viewing natural wonders. In 1956, a triangular pavilion was built on the bank of the stream for tourists to watch the waterfall. In 1983, Woyun Stone was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Wuxi City. The water from the stream eventually flows into Yingshan Lake.
