About Wangchun Pavilion
Wangchun Pavilion is a Tang Dynasty-style building located in the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It was designed by Zhang Jinqiu and opened to the public in April 2005. The building is a hexagonal spire attic, with three outer floors and six inner floors. The eaves are divided into octagonal towers with six edges. It is in sharp contrast with the Ziyun Tower on the other side of Furong Lake. It is the main building of the Ladies Pavilion scenic spot. Writer Jia Pingwa wrote that Wangchun Pavilion on the other side of the river "has a different attitude." Wangchun Pavilion is located on the northeastern shore of Furong Lake. Together with the West Gate and Ziyun Tower, it constitutes the three landmark buildings in the park. It forms a spatial echo with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is another commanding height of Furong Garden.
