About Wanghaimen

Wanghaimen is an attraction located in Shandong Province. As a natural landscape, Wanghaimen is located in the Laoshan Scenic Area of Qingdao, in the Checkerboard Stone Tourist Area. It consists of two cliffs facing each other, with huge rocks stretched across them to form a stone gate. It is a scenic spot for viewing the sea and the sun. As a historical city gate, Wanghaimen was the north gate of ancient Weixian County (now Weifang). Its name means looking at the sea in the distance. The modern sculptures of Wanghaixiong in Dongfeng Bridge and other places correspond to this city gate. In addition, there are also buildings called Wanghaimen in Qingshan Fishing Village and other places.
