About Bitian Cave
Bitian Cave is a scenic spot located on the mountain opposite Wangshun Mountain (National Forest Park) at Lantian Blue Bridge in Zhongnan Mountain on the outskirts of Xi'an. Bitian Cave has a long history. It was once the place where "Han Xiangzi", one of the Eight Immortals, practiced and became an immortal. It was also a place where the Eight Immortals often performed together. It is said that Taishang Laojun always guided them in the lower world. There are also statues of Emperor Donghua and the Eight Immortals preserved in the cave. The cave is located on the mountainside (60 meters away) with beautiful scenery, welcoming the morning glow (the reclining Buddha shining on the cave is a wonder) and sending off the sunset. The entrance hall of the cave is about 40 square meters, and the depth of the cave is about 800 meters.
