About mandarin duck love stone

Yuanyang Love Stone, formerly known as Jubei Stone or Bei Stone, is located on the mountainside of Beihuan Mountain in Yudoshan Seaside Park, Dongping Town, Yangdong County, Guangdong Province. They are two natural boulders of similar shape, facing each other on an oval-shaped foundation stone, resembling a pair of amorous mandarin ducks perched on a branch. These two large stones seem to be crumbling, but they have still stood firm after thousands of years of wind and rain. The "corridor" formed between the two stones can accommodate more than ten people, and you can see a sliver of the sky when you look up. There is a legend circulating here that a couple died in love because their love was blocked, and eventually turned into stones covered with pearls.
