About fish drum stone
Yugushi is located about half a kilometer west of the bottom of the Huayan Temple Stream. The stone is a huge recumbent fish-shaped stone with a small hole on it, 20 cm in diameter and 80 cm deep. If you tap the hole with your hand, it will make a ringing sound, which is similar to the sound of the fishing drum used by Taoist priests, hence the name. The stone is engraved with the words "Yunxue" inscribed by Wang Songhan, a Pingdu scholar in the Qing Dynasty. This stone belongs to the Chessboard Stone Scenic Area and is part of the relics of glacial movements.
