About dragon head stone
The Dragon Head Stone is two natural rock landscapes shaped like dragon heads in Huangshan Scenic Area, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. They are located on the bank of Taohua Creek on the left bank of Bailong Bridge in the hot spring scenic area and on top of Dujuanwu at the west foot of Shimen Peak. Among them, the boulder next to Bailong Bridge is engraved with the word "dragon head" written by Dong Biwu in 1965, and the dark boulder under Shimen Peak is named after myths and legends. Both of them have become geological wonders due to their mimicry characteristics. Bailongqiao Longtou Stone is located in the core area of the hot spring scenic spot. It is surrounded by mountains such as Taohua Peak and Ziyun Peak, as well as water features such as the Herringbone Falls and Sandie Spring. The rocks have been weathered over a long period of time to show mimicry characteristics.
