About boot stone
Boot Stone is a natural rock landscape located southeast of Weizhu Temple in Beijiushui. The rock is named after the lateral stones on the top that resemble ancient Chinese traditional boots. It is distributed on both sides of the mountain stream in Muwushi Village together with the surrounding stone gates, Kang stones, and Mama stones. The area where the rock is located has rugged terrain, with huge boulders stacked at the bottom of the mountain stream, and Lotus Bay at the foot of the mountain. The boot stone next to the lotus pond is adjacent to the huge stone that is as flat as a kang. There is a local folk saying that "with the phoenix crown on your head, your feet in the lotus bay, you can get on the kang after taking off your boots." There are many local legends about the formation of this stone.
