About Caibegou Eastern Zhou Dynasty Tombs
The Eastern Zhou Dynasty tombs in Caibegou are located on the west side of Anle Village in Xiazhuang Town. The tombs are distributed from southeast to northwest. The ditch is about 500 meters long, 15 to 20 meters wide, and about 5 meters deep. It was named after villagers in history often found bronzes, pottery, jades, shell coins and other cultural relics after rain or when collecting soil. The tomb complex is adjacent to Laoshan Mountain in the east, Danshan Mountain in the west, Yuanyuan River in the north, and faces Fahai Temple across the river. It was robbed and excavated many times by the Japanese from 1914 to 1939. After the founding of New China, cultural relics such as copper tripods, bronze swords, copper beans, copper washers, and agate rings were unearthed one after another.
