About Immortal Peak
Immortal Peak is located in the Beihai Scenic Area of Huangshan Mountain, west of Xuanyuan Peak and east of Pagoda Peak. It is one of the 36 peaks in Huangshan, with an altitude of 1,610 meters. On the top of the peak, there are two huge rocks shaped like stone figures sitting opposite each other. It is said that they were transformed by Emperor Xuanyuan and Fuqiu Gong after they made elixirs and ascended to heaven. There is a fairy cave under the peak, and the stalagmite landscape belt extends from Shixin Peak to the peak, forming a unique landform of 'stalagmites rising out of the sky, like bamboo shoots springing up after a rain'. The name of the peak is closely related to the legend of the Yellow Emperor.
