About Suzhou Aquarium
Suzhou Aquarium is located at No. 28 Taihu Avenue, Taihu National Tourism Resort, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is the first phase of the Taihu Water World project. It covers an area of about 80,000 square meters and includes three themed areas: an aquarium, a diving hall and an ocean theater. The venue features the freshwater ecology of the Yangtze River and Taihu Lake basins and the display of global marine life. It has the country's first freshwater exhibition area focusing on native protected species such as the Yangtze River swordfish and Chinese sturgeon. It also presents rare creatures in the Red Sea, Indian Ocean and other waters through an immersive undersea tunnel. The 15.8-meter-deep diving hall in the museum simulates the coral reef ecology of the Maldives and is equipped with Asia's leading constant temperature environment for visitors to experience diving interaction.
