About Suzhou London Tower Bridge Replica
London Bridge is a repeatedly rebuilt bridge on the Thames River in London, England. It connects High Street in the Borough of Southwark and King William Street in the City of London. It is historically known as the main entrance to London. The current London Bridge was built in 1973 and is a modern concrete bridge. London Bridge was originally built of wood by the Romans in AD 43. It has collapsed and been rebuilt many times in its nearly 2,000-year history, from wooden bridges to stone bridges to cement bridges. In 1014, King Ethelred II of England ordered the burning of London Bridge to prevent the Danish army from invading. It is said that this event led to the birth of the nursery rhyme "London Bridge is Falling Down." Between 1179 and 1209, London Bridge was rebuilt from a wooden bridge into a stone bridge that carried more than 100 houses and thousands of people.
