About test stone
The Testing Stone is an island attraction on the east coast of Lingshan Island, Huangdao District, Qingdao City. Its standard name is spelled in Chinese pinyin "Shìdāo Shí", and its geographical location is 35°46.1′ north latitude and 120°10.6′ east longitude. Legend has it that when pirates invaded Lingshan Island in ancient times, a local hero cut off the foot of the mountain with a knife to form an independent reef to repel the enemy, hence the name. The total area of the scenic spot is about 80,000 square meters, and the island of Shidaoshi is 26 meters above sea level. The cliffs on its west side are opposite to the cliffs to form a canyon, where you can enjoy the "line of sky" scene and are suitable for fishing. Lingshan Island was an important coastal defense site in ancient and modern times, and the islanders practiced martial arts.
