About Zuoling Yamen
The Zuoling Government Office is a government building of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the Xincheng District Manchu Kindergarten at No. 11 Yuanzhenyong Street, Xincheng District, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia. It was first built in the fourth year of Qianlong's reign (1739). It was originally the office of Zuoling Office in Suiyuan City and was later converted into a residence for officials. It is now the fourth batch of key cultural relics protection units in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and is the only former Qing Dynasty Zuoling Government Office site that has been preserved in Hohhot. The main body of the building faces south and adopts a quadrangle layout. It has a brick backing screen wall, an existing stone platform and a green tile roof. It is a hard-mounted house with a civil structure.
