About Penglai Pavillon

Penglai Pavilion is located in Penglai Water City Scenic Area, No. 7 Yingbin Road, Penglai District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is located on Danya Mountain. It was first built in the sixth year of Jiayou in the Northern Song Dynasty (1061). It has been repaired many times in the past dynasties without reconstruction. It still maintains its original appearance in the Northern Song Dynasty; it is famous for the legend of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" and the wonder of "Mirage" Famous all over the world, eight of the "Top Ten Scenic Spots of Penglai" are located in Penglai Pavilion. It has been known as the "Wonderland on Earth" since ancient times. It is also known as the "Four Famous Towers in China" together with Yueyang Tower in Yueyang, Hunan, Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang, Jiangxi, and Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, Hubei.
