Luodai Town is affiliated to Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the eastern suburbs of Chengdu City, covering an area of 42.65 square kilometers, with a registered population of 29,408 (2018), and jurisdiction over 6 villages and 4 communities (2019). Luodai Town is the largest Hakka town in the west, with more than 95% of the permanent Hakka population. Hakka culture is the unique imprint of Luodai, the soul and foundation of the ancient town of Luodai, and plays a driving and core supporting role in the economic development of Luodai. Luodai Town is the international cultural exchange section of Chengdu Sino-French Ecological Park, Sino-German Industrial Park, and the core development area of Longquan cultural industry.
