About Guihu Forest Plaza
Guihu Forest Plaza is located in the southwest of Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, 18 kilometers away from Chengdu City. It covers an area of 180 acres (including 80 acres of water surface) and a green area of 60 acres. The original site was the former residence of Yang Sheng'an, the number one scholar in the Ming Dynasty. It was named after the osmanthus trees planted around the lake. There are now more than 4,000 volumes of books in Sheng'an Temple and historical relics such as Ai Wu's tomb, Wang Mingzhang's tomb, and the statue of Tian Jiaying. The landscape in the garden includes elements such as the natural channel of the Yinma River, rockery waterfalls, small bridges and flowing water, echoing the Yijing Tower and ancient city walls of Guihu Lake. It has a typical Jiangnan garden style and is known as the "No. 1 Lake in Western Sichuan".
