About Hejiangting

Hejiang Pavilion is located at the intersection of Fuhe River and Nanhe River in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It was built more than 1,200 years ago during the Zhenyuan Period of the Tang Dynasty. It was presided over by Wei Gao, the military governor of Xichuan in Jiannan. After reconstruction in 1989, it was a conjoined double pavilion structure with ten pillar supports and a double-layer glazed tile roof. It is now a free and open municipal park. On August 3, 2021, Hejiang Pavilion was listed as the 19th batch of historical buildings in Chengdu. Next to it are Fanghua Tower and Tingtao Boat, surrounded by a parapet. In 1991, it was named one of the eight new sceneries in Chengdu, "Jieyu Shuangliu". On May 20, 2021, the Marriage Registration Office of Hejiangting Park in Jinjiang District opened to the public, and the "1.314-kilometer Love Line" connected to it was newly upgraded.
