About Gehong Museum
The Gehong Museum is located in the Zhuming Cave Scenic Area of Luofu Mountain, Boluo County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. It was renovated from a military auditorium designed by former Soviet engineering experts. It has a total construction area of more than 3,000 square meters. It was unveiled and opened on September 4, 2016. The museum's name plaque was inscribed by Tu Youyou. The museum is displayed on three floors. Using animation, VR, 4D movies, hand-painted dynamic ink scroll "Baopuzi's Travels in Luofu" and other technical means, more than 600 cultural relics are displayed to show the life of Ge Hong and his wife, medical works and health alchemy achievements. The third floor is equipped with a robot that can simulate pulse diagnosis and a Baogu moxibustion display area, and displays the signed monograph "Artemisia annua and Artemisinin Drugs" donated by Tu Youyou.
