About Huizhou Museum
Huizhou Museum is located at No. 3, Citizen Paradise West Road, Jiangbei, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. The main building was designed by the Architectural Design Institute of Tongji University in Shanghai. It has a construction area of 23,046 square meters. The building has five floors above ground and one underground floor. Its appearance design symbolizes the "seal of history" and is equipped with night light lighting projects, making it like a bright pearl on the shore of the Dongjiang River. In January 1982, the Huizhou Municipal Museum was established; in 1999, the Huizhou Municipal Museum moved to the former site of Fenghu Academy; in May 2009, the Huizhou Municipal Museum moved from the West Lake Fenghu Academy to its current location; in October 2009, the new Huizhou Municipal Museum was completed and opened to the public.
