About Huizhou Dongpo Memorial Hall
Huizhou Dongpo Memorial Hall is a state-owned museum of the cultural relics system established on May 19, 2015. It is located on the west side of Huizhou Su Dongpo Temple on Binjiang East Road, Qiaodong, Huicheng District, Huizhou City. It covers an area of 3,000 square meters and a construction area of about 2,500 square meters. It will be officially open to the public for free on January 7, 2020. The exhibition area of the museum is 2,000 square meters, with a total collection of 304 pieces (sets). It has two thematic exhibitions: "Exhibition of Su Dongpo's Life and Art" and "Exhibition of Su Shi's Deeds in Huizhou". The exhibition content is based on historical materials, photos, and physical objects, and combines sculptures, scenes, and multimedia to systematically display Su Dongpo's culture of benefiting from others.
