About Jinling Carvings
Jinling Sutra Engraving Office, located on Huaihai Road, Nanjing, is a famous Buddhist cultural institution at home and abroad. It was founded by layman Yang Renshan (1837-1911), the "father of the revival of Buddhism in modern China", in the fifth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1866). It has gone through ups and downs, but the lamp of wisdom has never been extinguished. It is now a national key cultural relics protection unit and a human intangible cultural heritage project protection unit.
