About Shaoxing Flood Control Memorial Hall

Shaoxing Flood Control Memorial Hall is a water conservancy-themed memorial hall located in Huancheng River Water Control Square, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It covers an area of about 1,270 square meters. It is an antique garden building with Jiangnan residential style and unique layout concept. The museum focuses on displaying the history and current situation of Shaoxing's water conservancy. It displays nearly 200 pictures, tens of thousands of texts and many physical exhibits. In the small square in front of the gate, there is a stone statue of Ma Zhen, the prefect of Kuaiji in the Eastern Han Dynasty. There are 5 exhibition halls in the museum. The main hall displays ancient water conservancy inscriptions such as the Northern Song Dynasty "Guangling Doumen Ji" stele and the Ming Dynasty Dai Hu's "Shaoxing Prefecture Complete Map" stele.
