About Suzhou City Wall Museum
The Suzhou City Wall Museum is located in the Xiangmen City Wall Scenic Area on Qianjiang East Road, Gusu District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It was officially opened to the public in November 2013 and is a heritage museum. Its opening hours are from 9:00 to 16:30 every Tuesday to Sunday (admission is closed at 16:00, closed on Mondays, except legal holidays). As of September 2020, the museum has 483 pieces/set of cultural relics, has carried out a total of 13 educational activities, and received 223,000 tourists. The museum is built based on the Xiangmen ancient city wall ruins and is divided into exhibition area, ruins area, leisure and sightseeing area and office area. The exhibition area covers an area of 1,000 square meters and has six exhibition halls, including the preface hall, the city's millennium, and the city gate story.
