About Chengdu Helicopter Museum
The Chengdu Helicopter Museum is an aviation-themed museum located in Wuhou District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. The main museum is located at No. 100 Huajin Road, with other branches at No. 152 Huaye Road and No. 234 Huaye Road. The museum was established in November 2011 with the approval of the Air Force and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture. It is the first helicopter-themed museum in China and opened on May 1, 2012. The museum is a state-owned museum and is open to the public free of charge. The opening hours are from 9:00 to 16:00 every Monday to Friday (closed on holidays).
