About Lu Xun Memorial Museum

Shaoxing Lu Xun Memorial Museum was founded in 1973 and is located at No. 235 Lu Xun Middle Road, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It covers a total area of 6,000 square meters and a total construction area of 5,000 square meters. Shaoxing Lu Xun Memorial Hall is the earliest commemorative figure museum established in Zhejiang Province after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The main exhibition hall has two floors, divided into two large spaces, the south and north exhibition halls, and is closely connected with the preface hall. The second floor of the south exhibition hall is an atrium-style cloister exhibition area, which mainly displays Lu Xun's life stories. As of the end of 2022, the museum has a collection of 6,507 pieces/set, 222 precious cultural relics/set, and a total annual audience of 971,650.
