About Chengdu Twelve Monthly Fairs Museum
Chengdu December City Museum is located at Dongmen Wharf (Tianxianqiao North Road), Jinjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It was officially opened on January 27, 2022. It is Chengdu's first commercial museum and fully immersive interactive digital commercial museum. The museum consists of four parts: the prologue hall, the scene space, the ring-screen theater, and the tail hall. Through the three content units of "commodities, stalls, shops - merchants, commercial coins, commercial routes - commercial streets, shopping malls, and commercial districts", it reproduces the lively scenes of monthly markets held in Chengdu during the Song Dynasty, and displays the commercial history and culture of Chengdu.
