About Fan Wenlan's Former Residence

Fan Wenlan's former residence, known as Fanjiatai Gate of Jinlin Bridge in the world, is located about 90 meters northeast of No. 8 Huanshan Road, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, covering an area of about 1,670 square meters. It is the birthplace of Fan Wenlan and the place where he lived during his childhood and youth. Fan Wenlan's former residence is a bungalow with three bays and three bays. The first entrance is the foyer, the second entrance is the rooms of the Fan family, and the third entrance is the residence of Fan Wenlan and his family. The Qing Dynasty buildings that have been preserved are the third entrance and the wing rooms on both sides. Fan's Terrace Gate was restored and reopened to the public. The third entrance of the former residence is a building, facing south and facing north.
