About Qingdao Science and Technology Museum
Qingdao Science and Technology Museum is a first-class public welfare institution affiliated to Qingdao Science and Technology Association. It is headquartered at No. 3 Zhongshan Road, Shinan District. The new museum will open on September 19, 2023 on the bank of Jiaozhou Bay, Chengyang District. The current director is Qi Jiguang. The new museum is the first large-scale modern science and technology venue with a marine theme in China, with a total construction area of 51,000 square meters and an exhibition hall area of approximately 17,000 square meters. With the theme of "Ocean·Science·Human", it has six permanent exhibition halls, including sea and land changes and navigation development, as well as a children's hall and a temporary exhibition hall. The exhibition items cover VR technology and interactive devices.
