About Sichuan newspaper museum
Sichuan Newspaper Museum is a museum located at No. 66, Zitongqiao Main Street, Jinjiang District, Chengdu. The building is composed of an old Soviet-style red brick building in the 1960s and a frame structure in the 1990s, with a total construction area of 1,896.54 square meters. Officially opened on February 20, 2024, the museum houses a themed exhibition on the development of the Sichuan newspaper industry, a themed exhibition on the Sichuan Daily Newspaper Group, and a temporary exhibition area. More than 360 items of documents, images, editing and printing equipment are on display, presenting the history of the technological evolution of the newspaper industry from "lead and fire" to "wisdom and cloud". In May 2025, he won the "Best Creative Award for Top Ten Display Exhibitions" of the Sichuan Provincial Museum in 2024.
