About Civil Aviation Museum Qingdao
The Qingdao Airport Branch of the Civil Aviation Museum is the only branch of the Civil Aviation Museum outside the capital. It is located in the relief square on the B1 floor of the Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport Comprehensive Transportation Center (GTC) and was officially opened on February 1. The museum is co-sponsored by the Civil Aviation Museum and Qingdao International Airport Group, and is managed and operated by Qingdao Airport Group Cultural Tourism Development Company. The exhibition hall is based on the concept of a pan-museum and is divided into four exhibition areas: "Chasing Dreams in the Blue Sky", "Sky Giants", "Centennial Airport" and "Functional Area", with an exhibition area of approximately 1,200 square meters. The core exhibit in the museum is the country's first nearly 1:4 scale large-scale C919 aircraft model authorized by COMAC.
