About Museum to honour Zheng He
The Zheng He Tomb Historical Materials Exhibition Hall is located in the Zheng He Cultural Park at the southern foot of Niushou Mountain in Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is a five-bay courtyard-style building imitating the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The museum has a permanent exhibition "The Great Navigator - Zheng He", which displays relevant historical materials and cultural relics such as Zheng He's treasure ship, Zheng He's "Navigation Chart" and portraits. The exhibition hall was built on the south side of the cemetery along with the restoration project of Zheng He's tomb in 1985 to commemorate the 580th anniversary of Zheng He's voyage. As an important part of the Zheng He Cultural Park, the exhibition hall is an important place to carry out Zheng He cultural theme research and patriotism education activities.
