About Wuxi Inscription Exhibition Hall
The Wuxi Stele Exhibition Hall is located at No. 3, Muqinfang Lane, Xueqian Street, Liangxi District, Wuxi City. It is a state-owned special museum under the Wuxi Museum. It was built on the site of the Wuxi County School founded by Jiayou in the third year of the Northern Song Dynasty (1058). The museum was established in 1990 and now has nearly 100 inscriptions from the Song Dynasty to the Republic of China, covering categories such as imperial pens, official documents, local historical materials, temple edicts and famous books. Among them, the "Wuxi County Lishe" stele is an important cultural relic. The inscriptions in the collection are divided into three categories according to their content: county-related inscriptions, local literature inscriptions and calligraphy art inscriptions.
