About He Zhenliang and the Olympic Exhibition Hall
He Zhenliang and the Olympic Exhibition Hall is located in Canal Park, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is the first Olympic-themed exhibition hall in China. The museum was built on May 20, 2008. It was converted from the original plastic factory warehouse in the 1960s and 1970s, with a total exhibition area of 3,800 square meters. The museum aims to commemorate Mr. He Zhenliang, the "Mr. Olympic Games of China" who came out of Wuxi, and to promote the Olympic spirit. The museum houses nearly 2,000 precious collections donated by He Zhenliang, including commemorative envelopes signed by all International Olympic Committee members when Beijing successfully bid for the Olympics. The museum is a theme museum to promote the Olympic Movement and the history of Chinese sports development.
