About Wuxi Brickkiln Group Museum
Wuxi Kiln Site Museum is located at No. 27 Dayao Road, Liangxi District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, at the intersection of the ancient canal and Bodu Port. It is my country's first themed museum that comprehensively displays the development history of Chinese bricks and tiles. It was officially opened on April 1, 2008. The museum was renovated from the original Qingming Bingxian Water Tape Factory, with a total exhibition area of about 3,000 square meters. The first floor of the museum is equipped with the "Wuxi Brick History" exhibition hall, which displays city bricks, square bricks and other local brick products; the second floor displays ancient brick imitations, real objects and modern brick-making machinery models, and is connected to the canal wharf through a corridor for water and land visits.
