About The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Museum
Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Museum (referred to as Ningxia Museum) is located on People's Square East Street, Jinfeng District, Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with a total construction area of 30,258 square meters. The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Museum was formerly the Ningxia Geological Museum Preparatory Office established in September 1959. It was officially renamed the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Museum in 1973. In November 2006, the new Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Museum with a total investment of 228 million yuan broke ground and was officially put into use in September 2008. In October 2018, it was named the 2018 “National Research and Practice Education Base for Primary and Secondary School Students”. In 2020, it was selected into the award list of the "17th National Museum Top Ten Exhibitions and Exhibitions Promotion Event".
