About Zhuji Museum

Zhuji Museum is located at No. 18, Dongyi Road, Zhuji City, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It covers an area of more than 20 acres and has a construction area of 3,600 square meters. It is affiliated to the Zhuji City Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication Bureau and is a local comprehensive museum. In December 1996, the Zhuji Museum Preparatory Office was established. In May 1997, the construction of Zhuji Museum started. On December 28 of the same year, the Zhuji Museum was completed. On October 8, 1998, the Zhuji Museum was officially opened to the public. As of the end of 2019, the Zhuji City Museum has a collection of 3,836 pieces/sets, including 241 pieces/sets of precious cultural relics. It has held 29 exhibitions, conducted 11 educational activities, and attracted 1.65 million visitors.
