About Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum
Hangzhou Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Museum is located at No. 60 Nanfu Road, Nanxing Street, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It covers an area of 26,000 square meters, with a construction area of 7,500 square meters and an exhibition area of about 2,000 square meters. It is composed of an exhibition hall and a protected building for the official kiln ruins under the suburban altar. It is a special museum on social science ceramic culture. In April 1987, the Hangzhou Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Museum Preparatory Office was established, which was called the Two Museum Preparatory Office (China Tea Museum and Hangzhou Southern Song Dynasty Official Kiln Museum). In May 1989, the preparatory offices of the two museums were separated. On October 25, 1992, it was officially opened to the outside world.
