About Tiger Spring entrance

Hupao Mengquan is located in Dinghui Temple, Daci Mountain, Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction and one of the ten scenic spots in the new West Lake. The scenic spot is named after the legend of Master Xingkong's dream of two tigers moving to the spring in the 14th year of Yuanhe in the Tang Dynasty (819). The spring water seeps out through the cracks in the quartz sandstone. It is a fissure spring with sweet and refreshing water quality. Together with Longjing tea, it is called "the two wonders of the West Lake". The park is equipped with the "Dream Tiger" sculpture group that shows the legend of "Tiger Moves the Spring Vein", the Jigong Pagoda Courtyard and the Memorial Room of Master Hongyi, which preserve the historical materials of Li Shutong's monkhood.
